The above stated meaning is incorrect and needs corretion .. Aniket is name of Narad Muni, who was cursed by Daksha(Prajapati & Son Of Brahma) to have no home, i.e. not to stay at a place for long because he was a Vishnu Bhakta, and where ever he went he made devotees of people and made the believers in the name of Vishnu(GOD).

Shiva definitely has a home, he stays at Kailash with his ardhangini Parvati. Comments:

Some are not sure if that is Lord Shiva or Lord Ganesha's Name. Its another name for Narad Muni not Shiva or Ganesh.

DEFINITELY IT'S SHIVA. IN HINDU MYTHOLOGY, SHIVA ALWAYS MOVE AROUND THE SMASHANS OR BURNING GHAATS, AND HE HAS NO HOME, HE JUST SITS ON THE HILL KAILAS, OR IN ANY CAVES, BUT DOESNOT MAKE HIS OWN HOME, THUS ANIKET IS SHIVA.

    The meaning of "Aniket " is Homeless as well as 

"the one who has whole world as his home ".

        So this refers that "Aniket " means Lord Krishna .
      It also means "Shiva " but not  and 
        will never refer to "Naradji"
