From Namespedia - Names Meaning and Origins
Editing most Namespedia pages is easy. Simply click on the "edit this page" tab at the top of a page (or on a section-edit link). This will bring you to a new page with a text box containing the editable text of the original page. After you modify the page you should push "Show preview" button to see how your modification will appear. If you're satisfied with what you see, be bold and press the "Save page" button. Your changes will immediately be visible to all users.
When you are editing a name, you should take advantage of the possibility to use referrals to other names or categories and also to include the name in some categories.
To refer to other name you can use the internal links, so if you want to add something like Alex is the short form of Alexander. you must type:
Alex is the short form of [[Alexander]]
To link to a category, like Origin: Category:Europe you must type:
Origin: [[:Category:Europe]]
To include the name in a category, you must type:
[[Category:Europe]]
You can find a list of categories here: Special:Categories
You can also create new categories as simply as referring to the category you wish to create, save then click on the link to that category.
