Jabar Mirani says: As I stated before this is the name of the forefather chieftain of a great Jaf clan living in the near border areas of Kermansha province in Iran and Halbja province in KRG in Iraq. Moreover, the people of this tribe were living inside the ccurrent areas of Kermansha around Rawansar, Jovanro and up to the surrounding areas of Kamyaran in now Kurdistan province. Then due to a fighting between them and that time Babajani chieftman named Habibollah Khan aroun the year1882 up to 1890, they mostly left thier residency and went to thier orginal inhabitant in Shamiran an Zemnako and now they are called Shamèrani living in about 20 villages near the Shamèran Mountains near the border of Jawanro in Iran and Halabje in Kurdistan Regional Government locating now inside KRG. they were living near Ravansar, Jowanřŏ and Kamyaran as they fought with Jalilvand clan and they defeated them them and replaced their land forcing them to move to an area between Kamyaran and Songhor. However, after they were defeated by Babajani tribe, they were mostly dispersed and the structure of thier tribe was loosened inside Iran and only few families remained but they mostly returned to thier origional and main land forming again a great and forceful tribe even helpingand backing Jaf Pashas like Mahmood Pashayi Jaf in his fighting with Osmani again around 1895.
